Did you buy the module or did you have it programmed out of the ECU?

I'm curious to see what method everyone took on this minor nuisance.  Personally, I had it programmed out.  5 minutes and 20 bucks later, it was gone.   I don't like getting my hands dirty unless I really have to.

So what did you do?
