Did you buy the module or did you have it programmed out?

I'm curious to see what method everyone took on this minor nuisance.

Have it programmed out if you are having a tune up the near future.

The best way to eliminate skip shift problems is with programming. But-- rather than simply turning skip shift off, have it programmed to be active only above a certain engine coolant temperature. That way, if you don't notice that the temp gauge needle has entered the "red zone", you'll get a wake up call when the transmission suddenly wants to do the "One-to-Four Boogie". Under all other conditions, skip-shift will be missing in action.
