1993 corvette abs and asr light

hello, maybe someone can help me. i own a 1993 corvette LT1. my problem is that my asr and abs lights come on but only when i brake somewhat hard. before they come on the red parking brake light by the speedometer turns on for a few seconds. they go out when i turn the car off and only come on again when i brake hard.

Try topping off the brake fluid res.

want to know why topping off the brake fluid will help...
there is a switch for low fluid level.. that will turn on the light.. and may switch off the anti locks and or the traction control... since there is only on and off for the switch... it only knows there is fluid or there is no fluid..
ishman has not logged in since an hour after he posted... it may have dropped in to see .
