Does anyone make an aftermarket dash for the '63?  I would like to go to Autometer or VDO gauges but do not want to wreck my original dash.  

I believe you are looking for an instrument cluster less gauges, not the "dash", which is the fiberglass piece in which the clock and radio are mounted.

I have seen vendors with several of them for sale at swap meets, and I will bet that ebay vendors will have some without the gauges. I have not seen repops of the chromed and painted zinc castings, or of the sheet metal shrouds behind the gauges.
