I will be installing a ZZ4 crate engine in this 4 speed, A/C, C-3. Does anyone know if the stock hood will work with this application? or will I need the LT-1 or big block Hood?
I want to keep the intake that comes with the engine.Thanks; sam

I HAVE A ZZ4 CRATE ENGINE IN A 1980 C3 WITH A EDELBROCK CARBURETOR AND HOOKER HEADERS. THE STOCK HOOD FITS AND WORKS JUST FINE. YOU WILL LIKE THE ZZ4 ITS WHAT THESE C3S NEEDED.

I HAVE DONE ZZ4 WITH FAST BURN HEADS EDELBROCK CARB AND AIR FILTER ON 71 WITH AUTO I HAD TO USE TALLER HOOD
