1992 Convertible hesitation

Every once in a while when I step on the gas the car will start to hesitate and loose power almost like it is running on 4 cylinders. I take my foot off the gas and it is fine. I have already replaced the optispark but I have not changed the plugs.
Any sugguestions?

OK
I replaced the plugs, wires and put in a new coil. The car is starting,running and ildling great but it is still falling flat every once and a while when I floor it(with the traction controll off). I am not getting a check engine light, could it be a clogged fuel filter??
