A familiar story I assume:  kids done with college (i.e. suddenly have some disposable income!), my need for speed never left and am seriously looking at '08 Covettes (first corvette).  Z06 is more than I want to spend, but as a simple guy (not into technology much and don't need a whooptedoo interior) it seems to me a base coupe with 6 speed manual, NPP and Z51 options might work reasonably well. Advice?  Also may need some help with dealers to go to as the ones I have briefly talked to seemed not very knowledgable and easily confused.  Am in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
