one headlight wont go up only - 1980 vette

Can anyone tell me , what to look for ,as only one of my 1980 vette headlights wont go up ? Itll go down,but not up ? Is actuator easy to replace, or where do i start ? Thanks for your help .

You could have a bad actuator, or you could have a vacumm leak. The actuators are not difficult to replace but if I were you I would replace the vacuum lines and one way check valves at the same time. If they are original they will be dry rotted.
