I have been told that I will have to use LT4 corvette composite valve covers.  I would like to get a second opinion, is this true or false?  Confused

you can use any valve cover you want if they fit an LT1 engine but you certainly can not put regular traditional small block chevy valve covers on an LT1 engine.

Whatever valve cover that is on the Vette LT1 I would just install on the 95 Camaro.
I know the 95 Z28 has a lot of composite parts under the hood. You didn't mention if you have a 95 Z28. Approx 1/3 of the engine fits under the Firewall. They are a PITA to work on. Get back to us and let us know what your working on. Because the Z28 also had a Water pump that was driven off the Camshaft. The other thing they had Opti Spark. Be carefull near that bad boy if you have one. I saw a Police cruiser that came into the Chevy dealer. You could hear that jumping spark from 50' away. It's got a nice nasty white/blue spark when it fires....
