I have a 1992 LT1 vette 47,000 miles on it. Fuel gage reads 2/3 full when it only   has 1/3 tank of gas. Reseting digital gage after each fill up lets it read full, but doesn't read accuratly as gas is used. Any suggestions?

MAN...Do I know exactly how you feel.   I have an '89 that has left me stranded twice now. Both times the gauges showed plenty of "range" and "bars".  I've tried running "TECHRON PLUS" through the tank...after 4 bottles, without luck, I took the sending unit out and rehabed it...no luck.

I had to replace the battery yesterday and when I drove it the range and bars showed correct considering I had filled it up.  The more I drove the more range I got.  At half a tank the range now shows 380 miles.

I think I have a short somewhere in the dash.  Seems to be a common problem.  There are tech articles both at this site and at Corvette Action Center site that cover this problem.

Good Luck
