1975 Purchase help please

I have a neighbor selling a 1975 C3 for $10,500. The car looks good and drives well. It doesn't look like it needs any major work but is no show car either. The interior and exterior are in fair to good condition. The engine is dirty but doesn't look like it is leaking oil. It looks like a good platform to really fix up nice without too much effort. I'm not a corvette guy, what should I be looking for in the way of pitfalls with this car?
