you did not post what year you have.. i would bet it is described somewhere in the owners manual...

most LCD displays are good to -30 to -40F...

i would imagine that gm has tested them close to -50F.. but i am not sure..

there are also magnetic block heaters you can stick to the sides of IRON blocks..  buy 2.. one for each side..   you can put them on a thermal controller.. or a timer.. so it only heats for a few minutes each hour... when the temps dip below -20F

wedging blocks of styrofoam under the exposed sides of the car..  to keep the wind from blowing  under it.. and a decent car cover after a really good wax job..  with the edges of the car cover tucked around the styrofoam...

one wonders with all the big box stores that have closed around the country.. that only a few are being used for Rv storage..

got a thermal wrap on your battery.. so it does not freeze crack and leak acid ... or do you have a plan on removing it..

i have only spend one winter where it got really cold...  usually i wear tee shirts everywhere..

i have several family members who live where the weather gets really bad... and they allow studded tires..  my thought would to have a set of ice racing type tires...  to swap on for driving on the ice covered streets and in snow storms..

who needs chains..  lets go ice racing on the city streets.....

i am sitting here remembering the donuts i did in my corvair powered VW van on an ice covered parking lot... until the store manager got close... he was running and waving his hands franticly...
