If replacing oem run flats with other tire, will dash board TPMS light stay on?

The sensor is on the rim.  Just make sure they don't damage it when putting the new tires on.  The light shouldn't be affected at all.

There are 6 different sensors they are using today in GM vehicles. You have to see what you have to determine that for replacement. I've replaced a couple on my 2002 Z06. They are the valve stem. They run from $50.00 to $75.00. Then you need them installed and rebalance the tire.
Don't let the tire technician tell you it need to be recalibrated. If you go through the set-up in the computer, you will come across a relearn series of items. Answer yes to the tires, my horn beeps twice, and as soon as the car starts rolling the horn beeps twice again and that was it. Learning curve over... Grin

My understanding of a run flat, is this. It will ride so well you won't believe it when the TPMS goes off. The tire can be run at 50MPH for up to a 50 mile distence. It could crush the sensor. I would carry a air pressure gauge with you.
