Can you put a P295-50-15 tire on the front axle on a 1976 Stingray? The tire is 12.4ins. wide. It has to have a 10in. rim. Does anyone know if it will rub or not?

That is a very wide tire to try and fit under that fibergalss body. Do the tire guys have any idea? Jegs sells a tool that maybe able to help you determine what room you have if any.
I would be concerned when the suspension is moving in an up/down motion. Then if you make any sharp turns.
